Go-To Safety Points At Petron Service Stations

Petron has always advocated safety and caring for its communities. In Malaysia, we continue to foster these same values in the way we do business.

We are one with Malaysia in promoting safety and security. We believe that a safe and secure society is an essential part of nation-building. At the onset of the government’s United Against Crime program, it was only natural for us to contribute to its success and partner with the Royal Malaysia Police in driving the “Go-To Safety Points at Petron Service Stations.”

We are part of many local communities and through the years, we have grown with its residents whom we serve and interact with daily at our stations. “Go-To Safety Points” transforms strategically-located Petron stations into “safety points” for the public.

The public may seek temporary shelter in Petron stations. Equipped with the Police’s network numbers, station personnel will be able to easily contact the Police. Moreover, Petron station personnel have been trained by the Police to provide basic first response during emergencies.

Participating Petron stations can be identified by the “Go-To Safety Points” signage, strobe light, and booth which the Police will man in-between neighbourhood safety patrols.
